Tinplate (ETP — Electrolytic Tinplate) is a thin gauge cold rolled steel sheet coated with pure tin on both surfaces through an electrolytic deposition process. The tin coating provides excellent corrosion resistance, non-toxicity, solderability, and an attractive bright surface finish. TFS (Tin Free Steel / ECCS) is also available with chromium/chromium oxide coating as an economical alternative.
Widely used in food and beverage packaging (cans, closures, caps), aerosol containers, chemical cans, paint cans, battery shells, and decorative metal packaging. Available in multiple temper grades from soft forming (T1-T3) to high rigidity (T4-T5, DR7-DR9) to suit different application requirements.

All tinplate coils are manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system. Testing includes: tin coating mass (coulometric method per ASTM A630/B545), alloy-tin couple test (ATC value), surface passivation film (cathodic reduction), hardness testing (HR30T Rockwell superficial), surface inspection (visual + optical detection for pinholes and defects), oil film measurement, dimensional inspection. Mill Test Certificates per EN 10204 3.1 provided.
Surface Protection: Dioctyl sebacate (DOS) or acetyl tributyl citrate (ATBC) oil film applied (2-6 mg/m²) for corrosion protection during storage and transport. Food-grade oils available.
Packaging: Coils wrapped with anti-rust paper + PE film, secured with steel strapping, edge protection rings. Wooden pallet base. Eye-to-sky loading. Maximum 3 coils per 20ft container. Humidity indicator cards placed inside wrapping.
Storage: Store in dry, ventilated warehouse at 15-30°C with relative humidity below 60%. Keep away from corrosive chemicals. Use within 3 months for best results. Do not stack more than 2 coils high.
