Pipe tees are T-shaped pipe fittings used to combine or split fluid flow in piping systems. Equal tees have all three branches of the same diameter. Reducing tees have the branch outlet smaller than the run pipe, used for making branch connections. Barred tees include internal bars to prevent pig passage for pipeline cleaning operations.
Butt weld tees are manufactured per ASME B16.9 from seamless or welded pipe through hot forming, with bevelled ends for field welding. Socket weld and threaded tees per ASME B16.11 are available for smaller bore sizes (up to DN50/2").
