Carbon steel round bars are solid cylindrical steel products manufactured through hot rolling, cold drawing, or forging processes. Grades 20# and 45# are premium carbon structural steels widely used in mechanical manufacturing. 20# offers excellent weldability and toughness, making it ideal for shafts, bolts, and structural components. 45# is a medium carbon steel with higher strength and hardness after heat treatment, commonly used for gears, axles, and high-strength mechanical parts.
Available in hot rolled (black surface), cold drawn (bright, tight tolerance), forged (large diameter), and peeled & polished (precision surface) finishes. Custom cutting to specific lengths, chamfering, and heat treatment services available.

All carbon steel bars are manufactured under ISO 9001 certified quality management system. Testing includes: chemical composition analysis (OES spectrometer), mechanical testing (tensile, yield strength, elongation, reduction of area, hardness HB/HRC, impact at specified temperatures), ultrasonic flaw detection (for critical grades), dimensional inspection (diameter, length, straightness, ovality), and surface quality check. Mill Test Certificates (EN 10204 3.1) provided with every shipment. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV, TUV available.
Surface Protection: Hot rolled bars: anti-rust oil coating. Cold drawn bright bars: anti-rust oil + PVC/PE wrapping for surface protection. Peeled & polished bars: individual wrapping with corrosion inhibitor paper.
Packaging: Bundled in hexagonal shape with steel strapping (3-5 straps per bundle). Bundle weight: 500kg β 3 tons. Wooden pallets or crates for precision bars. End caps for threaded bars. Waterproof wrapping for sea freight. Custom labeling and color marking.
