Hot-dip galvanized scaffolding steel pipes are manufactured from ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) carbon steel pipes that are subsequently immersed in a molten zinc bath to form a metallurgically bonded zinc coating on both internal and external surfaces. The hot-dip galvanizing process provides superior corrosion protection compared to pre-galvanized pipes, making them ideal for outdoor construction and scaffolding applications.
Available in standard scaffolding lengths (5.8m, 6.0m, 6.4m) with plain, threaded, or socketed ends. Widely used for: scaffolding systems (ringlock, cuplock, kwikstage), greenhouse structures, fence posts, handrails, water pipelines, fire protection systems, and structural support. All pipes conform to international scaffolding standards with full traceability.

All galvanized pipes are manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system. Galvanizing per ISO 1461 for hot-dip coating. Testing includes: zinc coating mass (gravimetric method ASTM A90/A90M), coating uniformity (copper sulfate dip test per ASTM A239, minimum 4-6 dips), adherence test (no flaking after bending/hammering), mechanical testing (tensile, yield, elongation, flattening, bend to 90Β°), hydrostatic pressure test, dimensional inspection (OD, WT, length, straightness β€0.2% of length), and visual surface inspection. Mill Test Certificates provided.
Pipe End Protection: Plastic thread protectors on both ends for threaded pipes. Metal end caps available. Beveled ends protected with anti-rust coating.
Packaging: Hexagonal bundles with 3-5 steel strapping bands. Bundle weight: 500kg β 2 tons. Waterproof plastic wrapping for sea freight. Wooden pallets for small OD pipes. Custom color marking: red/blue/yellow bands for grade identification.
Shipping: Container vessel from Tianjin/Qingdao/Shanghai. 20ft: up to 27 tons (bundles up to 5.8m). 40ft: up to 27 tons (bundles up to 11.8m). Break bulk for longer pipes.
