Aluzinc (also known as Galvalume or GL) is a continuously hot-dip coated steel product where the coating consists of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon by weight. This unique alloy composition combines the barrier protection of aluminum with the galvanic (sacrificial) protection of zinc, delivering corrosion resistance 2-4 times superior to conventional galvanized (GI) coatings of the same thickness.
Key advantages over GI: superior atmospheric corrosion resistance, excellent high-temperature performance (up to 315°C without discoloration), high heat reflectivity for energy-efficient buildings, and smoother surface ideal for subsequent prepainting. Widely used as substrate for PPGL (prepainted galvalume) coils, roofing, cladding, and automotive components.

All galvalume coils are manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system on continuous hot-dip coating lines. Testing includes: coating mass (X-ray fluorescence or gravimetric method per ASTM A90), coating adherence (180° bend test), surface quality inspection, dimensional verification (thickness, width, edge), and mechanical testing (tensile, yield, elongation, hardness). Mill Test Certificates per EN 10204 3.1 provided.
Surface Protection: Chromate passivation (Cr3+ eco-friendly) and anti-fingerprint coating standard. Light oil coating for additional white rust protection. Acrylic clear coat available for enhanced durability.
Packaging: Coils wrapped with anti-rust paper + PE film, secured with steel strapping (minimum 4 straps), edge protection rings. Wooden pallet or steel cradle base. Eye-to-sky loading. 20ft container: 2-4 coils, up to 28 tons.
