Pipe reducers are tapered fittings used to connect pipes of different diameters, allowing a smooth transition of flow. Concentric reducers have both ends aligned on the same centerline axis â ideal for vertical piping and pump suction/discharge. Eccentric reducers have one flat side â recommended for horizontal piping to prevent air pockets (flat side up for pump suction) or to maintain consistent bottom-of-pipe elevation.
Available in seamless (smaller sizes) and welded (larger sizes) construction. Butt weld ends with standard bevelling per ASME B16.25. Custom lengths and reducing ratios available.
