HDP (High Durability Polyester) color coated steel coils offer an excellent mid-range solution between standard PE (Polyester) and premium PVDF (Fluorocarbon) coatings. HDP coatings use a specially formulated polyester resin with advanced crosslinking agents, providing 15-20 years of weather resistance with superior color retention and chalk resistance compared to standard PE.
HDP is ideal for exterior building applications such as industrial roofing, warehouse cladding, agricultural buildings, and commercial structures where long-term durability is required at a more economical price point than PVDF. Available in a wide range of RAL colors with smooth, matte, or textured finishes.

Testing includes: DFT coating thickness measurement (ASTM D7091), color measurement (ΞEβ€1.5), gloss level check (60Β° ASTM D523), T-bend flexibility (ASTM D4145), reverse impact resistance (ASTM D2794), pencil hardness (ASTM D3363), MEK solvent rub test (β₯100 double rubs), salt spray corrosion test (β₯500 hours ASTM B117), and QUV accelerated weathering (β₯1000 hours ASTM G154). Mill Test Certificates per EN 10204 3.1 provided.
Surface Protection: PE protective film (50ΞΌm) on top surface to prevent handling and fabrication damage. Edge protection rings applied.
Packaging: Waterproof paper + plastic film wrap, secured with steel strapping (4-6 straps), on wooden pallet or steel cradle. Eye-to-sky loading standard. 2-3 coils per 20ft container depending on coil weight.
Storage: Store indoors in dry, ventilated conditions. Keep away from direct sunlight and moisture. Use within 6 months for optimal fabrication results.
