Carbon steel plates are flat-rolled steel products manufactured through hot rolling or cold rolling processes from quality steel slabs. Q235B is a general structural carbon steel with excellent weldability and formability, widely used in building structures, bridges, and machinery. Q355B is a high-strength low-alloy structural steel offering superior strength-to-weight ratio, making it ideal for heavy-duty structural applications.
Available in a wide range of thicknesses from thin gauge cold rolled sheets (0.2mm) to heavy plates (400mm). All plates undergo strict quality control including ultrasonic testing, mechanical property verification, and dimensional inspection. All carbon steel plates are manufactured under ISO 9001 certified quality management system. Testing includes: ultrasonic flaw detection (per ASTM A578/A435 Level I/II), mechanical testing (tensile, yield, elongation, bend, Charpy V-notch impact at specified temperatures), chemical composition analysis (OES spectrometer), dimensional inspection, and surface quality check. Mill Test Certificates (EN 10204 3.1) provided with every shipment. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV, TUV available.
Surface Protection: Hot rolled plates: shot blasted and primed (15-25ΞΌm shop primer) upon request. Cold rolled sheets: anti-rust oil coating. PE/PVC film protection for surface-critical applications.
Packaging: Plates packed in bundles with steel strapping. Wooden pallets or steel skids for heavy plates up to 3 tons per bundle. Edge and corner protectors. Waterproof wrapping for sea freight. Custom labeling per client specification.
Shipping: Container vessel (20ft/40ft) or break bulk for oversized plates. From Tianjin/Qingdao/Shanghai port. 20ft max load: ~28 tons. Delivery worldwide.
