Hot rolled carbon steel coils are produced by heating steel slabs above recrystallization temperature and rolling them to the desired thickness. HRC is the most widely used form of carbon steel with excellent formability, weldability, and cost-effectiveness. The hot rolling process produces a characteristic dark mill scale surface, which can be removed through pickling and oiling (HRPO) for applications requiring a cleaner surface.
Available in commercial quality (CQ), structural quality, drawing quality, and high-strength grades. These coils serve as the base material for cold rolling, pipe manufacturing, structural fabrication, and general engineering applications. Custom slitting to narrower widths available.

All hot rolled coils are manufactured under ISO 9001 certified quality management system. Testing includes: chemical composition analysis (OES spectrometer), mechanical testing (tensile, yield strength, elongation, hardness, 180Β° cold bend), dimensional inspection (thickness profile across width, width measurement, crown), surface quality inspection, and coil weight verification. Mill Test Certificates per EN 10204 3.1 standard provided with every shipment.
Surface Protection: HRC black: as-rolled with mill scale for general use. HRPO: pickled and oiled for clean surface and temporary rust protection. Anti-rust oil or dry finish available per client requirement.
Packaging: Coils wrapped with anti-rust paper and plastic film, secured with circumferential steel strapping (minimum 4 straps), edge protection rings on both sides, eye-to-sky or eye-to-wall positioning on wooden pallets or steel cradles. Maximum 3 coils per 20ft container. Custom labeling and marking.
Shipping: Container vessel from Tianjin/Qingdao/Shanghai port. 20ft: up to 28 tons (1-3 coils). 40ft: up to 28 tons. Break bulk for oversized/heavy coils (25+ tons). Delivery worldwide.
