Product Description

Hot-dip galvanized seamless steel pipes combine the superior mechanical properties of seamless pipe (no weld seam, homogeneous structure, high pressure capacity) with the excellent corrosion resistance of hot-dip galvanizing. The seamless pipe is manufactured from solid round billets through piercing and hot rolling, then immersed in a molten zinc bath at ~450°C to form a metallurgically bonded zinc-iron alloy coating.

This combination makes them ideal for demanding applications requiring both strength and corrosion resistance: high-pressure fluid transportation, oil & gas pipelines, fire protection systems, structural columns in corrosive environments, marine applications, and chemical processing. Available with plain, threaded, or bevelled ends.

Quality & Packaging

All galvanized seamless pipes are manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system. Seamless pipe testing per ASTM/EN standards: ultrasonic flaw detection (100% for high-pressure grades), eddy current inspection, hydrostatic pressure test (minimum 5MPa hold for 10 seconds). Galvanizing testing per ISO 1461: zinc coating mass (gravimetric ASTM A90), coating uniformity (copper sulfate dip test ASTM A239, 4-6 dips depending on grade), coating thickness (magnetic gauge ASTM E376), adherence test (no peeling/cracking after bending). Dimensional inspection: OD ±1% or ±0.5mm, WT ±12.5% or per standard, length as ordered. Mill Test Certificates (EN 10204 3.1) provided.

Thread Protection: Galvanized threads cut after galvanizing per standard (threads may appear uncoated — this is normal per ASTMA 53/EN 10255). Thread protectors (plastic caps) applied to both ends.

Packaging: Hexagonal bundles with steel strapping (3-5 straps). Maximum bundle weight: 2 tons. Waterproof plastic wrapping. Wooden pallets for small OD pipes. Color marking bands for grade identification. Custom labeling and barcoding available.
